Summer has finally arrived, ….. Round 5 of this years PIGs season. (Potteries International Golf Society) at Hawkstone Park Golf Club yesterday, partnered reigning and 4 time winner Dr Rob Warner on my right, along with Dr Jason Talathi and Dr Mike Brown, my highlight was a birdie on the par 5, 14th, great putt, happy with the 32 points and 4th place on countback and winning our match. Great day, Great company and sociable evening and meal. What more could you want?

We did discuss at one point, over an excellent pie and mash by the way, the need to have downtime and the importance of having time to try and relax and golf is it for these guys.

We all have such busy lives and finding time for yourself and family is difficult. Hats off to the dedication and long hours our medical professionals complete week in and week out and the pressures you are under providing care.. i certainly valued a day out of the office and the camaraderie of who should be cut each event is now part of the rituals
